The 5.11 Loose Fit Crew uses flat-lock seams which are stitched in such a way to prevent chafing and rubbing under the weight of even the heaviest ballistic vest.  The underarm mesh panel allows moisture to be vented away which helps keep an officer cool throughout the duty shift.
